Our partnership with Hydrowood reflects this same mindset — a dedication to materials with meaning. Once thought lost to time, these rare Tasmanian timbers lay perfectly preserved beneath the still, dark waters of Lake Pieman for over 25 years. Now reclaimed and restored, they are given a second life — transformed into hardware that’s rich in character and deeply sustainable. Castella is proud to be the only hardware brand in the world to create with this remarkable material.
