There’s more happening in this bathroom than first meets the eye.

At Breezeway House by Kasa Designs, a restrained palette creates room to play with something else entirely: geometry.

Vertical wall tiles draw the eye upwards, intersected by the horizontal grid behind the vanity. Tall mirrors introduce another strong vertical, while the terrazzo floor shifts the rhythm again. Even the cabinetry joins become part of the composition, creating a series of lines, planes and changing proportions across the room.

Against all of this, Castella’s Ledge Pull in Matt White adds one final linear detail.

Slim and deliberately understated, the pull sits horizontally across the drawer fronts, contrasting with the vertical cabinetry lines while disappearing tonally into the joinery. Its presence is subtle, but geometrically it plays an important role.

It’s a clever exercise in mixing pattern without pattern; using direction, scale and repetition to create visual interest within an otherwise quiet interior.

Proof that when the palette is restrained, even the smallest line can become part of the architecture.
