About the project

This stunning project, designed by Head Interior Design, is light and earthy, representing a farmhouse style. The design touch of family members makes this project personal and homely.

Inspiration was drawn from the North American farmhouse aesthetic with timber floors, shaker profile cabinetry, exposed apron front sink, and brushed brass tapware and cabinetry handles.

The cathedral ceiling, exposed beams and central apex window are the key architectural features of the extension, and Castella Decade cabinet cup pull handles with the farmhouse style and brushed brass finish complement the tapware and rest of the features in the project perfectly.

The mood to be created is a home for a young family with a large island bench, so the family could gather and eat together. The light, earthy palette created a sense of calm and the volume created by the cathedral ceilings accentuates the sense of space and light.
